Description:   Terracotta seated female figurine, hollow; upper part near toward neck solid. Proper right arm bent, holding object, likely flower bud, to breast. Left forearm projecting forward. Slender proportions with narrow shoulders. Peplos overfold falls to waist; vertical narrow folds between legs. Rounded feet, set apart, project from skirt hem and rest on two-stepped base or footstool. Side of seat plain. Chair with curved, horizontal projections in back. Chair similar to MF-11041 (Merker 2000, Corinth 18.4, cat. C74) and MF-11400 (Merker 2000, Corinth 18.4, cat. C71). Rectangular vent (H. 0.04, W. 0.026), similar to MF-11066 (Merker 2000, Corinth18.4, C33).
Decoration:   White slip all over. Red paint on chair, flower bud, feet, base of chair.
Material:   Fine pink to light brown clay with no visible inclusions or voids.
Munsell Color:   Between 7.5 YR 7/4 (pink) and 6/4 (light brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving upper part of torso with arms. Head and legs missing. White slip mostly preserved on surface, red paint poorly preserved. Surface very weathered. Large amount of dirt on surface, cleaned October 2015.
