Description:   Bronze spoon (cochlear) consisting of shaft, roughly rectangular in section, tapering to sharp point at one end, other end attached to thin bowl, concave and circular in shape. Similar to bone examples MF-1396 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1396) and MF-2513 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1398).
Material:   Bronze.
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving shaft with pointed end and most of bowl, chipped on one side. Shaft slightly widened with corrosion at middle; bowl with corrosion deposit near shaft. Traces of gold gilding at back of bowl.
