Description:   Bead or button or spindle whorl, with flat bottom, biconical body, central perforation. Cf. MF 10826 for profile, though larger.
Decoration:   Incised decoration, circle on bottom around perforation, two circles on lower body connected by vertical lines at regular intervals, alternating with crosses, one dotted circle in one of the compartments. Three cross-hatched triangles around upper body, rest on one of the lines, with dotted circles at corners of triangles, two outside the triangle at each base, one inside at each top. Cf. MF 8318 (Corinth XII, p. 304, no. 2618, pl. 125), MF 10826, MF-1974-4, and MF-1969-336 for decoration.
Material:   Steatite, purple
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact, with a few scratches.
