Description:   Silver-plated bronze finger ring, Type Q (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, p. 231). Hoop, slightly convex in section, gradually widening to points of attachment at edge of bezel, and with slight notch in edges about 0.004 from bezel. Soldered together on underside edges of bezel. Very similar to MF-4490 (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, cat. 1979).
Decoration:   Six short vertical incised lines on notch of hoop. Hoop: above notch, criss-cross pattern; below notch, series of three short double horizontal lines at both edges. Between groupings, two incised diamonds, followed by two incised triangles, one inverted. Engraved on thin, flat, circular bezel: two figures represented geometrically, both wearing long garments represented by an inverted triangle and regular triangle. Garment of left figure with zig-zag diagonal lines and central horiztonal incised line, possibly representing belt; right figure with lines somewhat radiating from similar belt. Encircled (punched?) dot for heads. Both figures facing front, with outer arm bent at elbow and raised up, inner arm holding tall staff topped with Maltese cross between them. Feet of both figures at right angle from ankle and facing center, except proper left foot of right figure not represented past ankle.
Material:   Silver-plated bronze.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete. Silver plating fairly well-preserved, slightly worn in some areas.
