Description:   Small tripod mortar with three squat rectangular legs equally spaced around circumference, each with rounded resting surface, deep (0.08) bowl with convex rounded undersurface, rounded rim or upper edge and shallow round concave grinding surface. No good historical parallels.
Material:   Pale gray andesite, maybe from Aegina.
Condition:   Missing parts. Intact, except for several chips around rim and along legs (but maybe also from initial manufacture). One long crack across one side of grinding surface. Interior worn smooth with pink staining.
