Description:   Conical loomweight, Profile VIII. Similar to MF-14458.
Decoration:   No details of anatomy are visible, since the figure is very faintly stamped. Three loomweights bearing the identical stamp (MF-8466, MF-8467, MF-8468) all ca. 0.08 (H), were found in a mid-fifth century well.
Writing:   stamp. Metal ring impression just above the bevelling (Davidson 1952, Corinth 12, pl. 75 and fig. 25): satyr facing left, kneeling no the right knee with the left leg bent. On the left shoulder an amphora supported with both hands.
Material:   Fine buff clay.
Period:   5th c. B.C.
