Title:   GLASS TUBULAR FOOTED STEMLESS GOBLET

Description:   Goblet. Low, spreading, double walled foot with no distinct base or stem. Narrow (0.01) cup body begins immediately above foot, flaring walls of much thinner glass. Bubble from parasion at bottom of cup; ovoid pontil mark. Made from single gather.
Material:   Glass, light blueish green. Few small-medium bubbles. Blowing sprials in body and base.
Condition:   Fragment. 1 fragment. Base and lower part of body. Some milky and brown weathering.
Manufacture:   Blown, single gather
Dimensions Preserved:   Diam. of base 0.049; H. 0.042
Period:   Late Roman (5th -6th c AD)
Chronology:   Or later (7th-8th). Cf. Jalame #229-235, but with much narrower cup where meets foot.
