Description:   Terracotta mouldmade mask with hair stylized in snail curls down to chin, round cheeks, holes near bottom corners. Sides fall away from surface at steep angle. Bottom corners have slightly obtuse angle. Similar in design to MF-1981-5 and MF-1981-6 but thicker, closest to MF-1981-4, MF-1981-17, MF-1982-18a
Decoration:   White slip with details in blue.
Material:   Fine hard reddish-yellow clay with very few small black inclusions. Slightly darker at center.
Munsell Color:   Exterior: 7.5YR 7/6; Interior: 5YR 5/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving original bottom right corner of face with cheek and hair. Blue and white paint traces where hair and skin meet. Mark in clay (fold from being pressed into mold) at bottom corner.
