Description:   Rectangular block, in which circular depression running from one narrow end to other, W00.012-00.021, widening from one end to other. On flat surface to lt. of this 3 pour channels extending from edge into 3 channels cut into depression. Channels spaced 00.013-00.014 m. apart. They produce a narrow band, undecorated, narrower at one end, and flattening at wider end, W00.003-00.006. Possibly for plain hoops of finger rings, made in three different diameters. Two sockets cut into 2 higher corners.For similar moulds see MF-00254, MF-06599.
Material:   Fine gray slate ?
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact except for flake missing in top and bottom at one corner.
