Description:   Bronze object, most likely a lamphanger or other device for suspension, consisting of a hook-and-loop made of a long rod circular in section except at the lower end where it is flattened and formed into a loop. At this point it joins a single remaining figure-eight link (original drawing illustrates several more links attached, now missing). Corresponds in appearance to Gill's Type B lamphanger (Sarachane 1, p. 240, fig. G).

Condition:   Fragment. Two joining fragments preserve part of hook-and-loop element and one figure-eight link; top of hook-and-loop broken. Surface corroded; hook-and-loop element bent.
