Decoration: | Swan siren type. Corinthian altar painter. Red stripe painted across bottom of side panels. On left panel swan with raised wing(s) faces right. Wing tips, legs, and tail missing. Body painted black with red beak. Detail incised, and white of eye reserved. On right panel siren (missing head) with raised wing(s) faces right. Body generally black with leading feathers of wing in red. Incisded detail. Half-round of moulding painted red. | |
Material: | Buff clay with numerous reddish brown inclusions. Paler, thin slip. | |
