Description:   Terracotta spin top with conical apex, circular conical top with concentric stepped rings on upper side, concave underside, hollow cylindrical stem attached to underside of top by pinching, pierced vertically through apex and stem, slight gap between the apex and stem otherwise not seen except for break. Similar to MF2006-4.
Decoration:   Traces of white slip throughout piece. Red paint covers the underside, stem and upper side of top. Green paint seen in 1948 but no longer visible.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with few small platy rounded white, rare small platy rounded black, few small tabular rounded mudstone, and rare fine sparkling inclusions
Munsell Color:   Clay: 7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow) Paint: 10R 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Missing parts. Single piece preserving half of flaring top but no edge and all of stem. Apex heavily worn. Paint and slip worn throughout.
