Description: | Mouldmade solid figurine of comic actor, standing against a rectangular pier, slightly taller than he, with 2 projections on top. Actor faces front with legs together, 2 hands behind back. Smooth mass of hair frames forehead and temples; leering mouth with moustache and beard framing it. Wears short garment ending at base of prominent belly, lower torso bare; wears cloak over either shoulder and pulled back by hands. Low rectangular plinth. Back and sides of pillar pared. | |
Decoration: | White slip over all, over which yellow paint on hair, red on face, around mouth, belly, yellow on legs (leggings?); drapery white. | |
Material: | Fine pinkish buff clay with 2% or less fine lime and fewer sparkling inclusions. | |

Condition: | Missing parts. Intact except for projecting spurs on pillar top. Paint partly preserved. Residue on underside as a result of sticky tack used to hold figurine upright inside old display case. | |
