Description: | Male figure standing frontal; weight on l. leg, r. slightly bent and foot turned out; body turned slightly to proper left; musculature of neck suggests that head probably in profile to proper l.;nude with chlamys clasped at r. shoulder, leaving rt. side bare; hem reaches mid-thigh on l. side; r. arm at side w/ forearm slightly forward so wrist almost in round; l. arm bent at elbow and raised so hand would have been at shoulder-level; l. hand held top of hunting spear; feet bare. Dog seated on ground in profile to rt. to proper lt. of figure, in front of spear butt; long tail extended onto plinth. Coarse claw chisel on plinth top and face, faint on background; sides and back of stele worked with point; clamp cutting in lt. edge 1.16 m. above bottom,W00.05. Depth of relief greater on proper r. side than l. | |
