Description:   Column of drapery, probably falling from an extended arm much like S-XXXX-3748. Column egg-shaped in horizontal section with one broad rounded end, opposite one narrower; folds on front face tubular, separated by broad channels, with intermediate channels breaking up breadth; on back face 4 parallel ridges. Rasping on surface.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., broken either end, preserving full circumference; some of folds chipped.
