Description:   Male head. Hair parted in quarters, held by headband, with two rows of spiral curls framing forehead and long tress behind each ear, slightly trapezoidal face, deep set eyes, triangular nose, concave mouth, short beard on sides. Type similar to S-426 (Corinth IX.1, p. 37, no. 31) except for hairstyle (hair parted in halves).

Material:   Fine-grained white marble
Condition:   Fragment. Single fragment preserves front half of head; surface worn.

Findspot Description:   Found by workman Sotiris Raftopoulos on Friday 15 June 2007 while cleaning the portion of the Kenchrean road in the area North of Nezi, H. Robinson's excavations of Agora Southwest, south of the South Stoa in the 1960s.
