Description:   Torso of standing male figure, over life-size, wearing cuirass; weight on r. leg; l. leg bent and set somewhat forward; r. arm, broken just below armpit, raised; l. arm held down; head worked separately and inserted; innersurface of socket picked; cuirass is undecorated, showing musculature of torso; double row of fringed leather straps attached to lower edge of breastplate, longerone reaching to mid-thigh level; fringed tabs around armholes; cingulum wrapped twice around chest, knotted over stomach; ends tucked under upper band,hanging down to lower edge of breastplate;baldric hanging diagonally from r. shoulder;area for scabbord rough-picked at l. side;wears tunic beneath cuirass, visible around upper part of legs, and chlamys over cuirass,fastened at r. shoulder and hanging down back; traces of piecing and dowel hold on r. arm; joint lightly picked, running back to top of shoulder and folds at side of neck; l. arm shows reworking with pick; back roughly worked; large socket centered under crotch W0.272, Depth0.22, H0.25.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble with some veins
Condition:   Fragment. Preserves torso from shoulders to lowerthigh; lacks both arms.
