Description:   Standing nude female with weight on left leg, rt. bent slightly forward. Left shoulder lower than rt. and slightly advanced. Entire torso bent forward slightly. Upper arms at side. Three wavy locks fall across top and front of each shoulder. Base of neck suggests head turned slightly to proper rt. Surface polished, traces of drill in hair. Surface of break of left leg squared and worked with point, iron dowel inserted, probably ancient repair. (mv. # of join to rt. Thigh unknown.)
2015/03/23: small support added at base to stabilize.
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble with larger calcite crystals and grayish streaks throughout.
Condition:   Missing parts. Torso complete from neck to upper thighs. Missing: rt. arm at shoulder, lt. arm below shoulder; inner part of rt. thigh, front of left thigh sheered off. Surface of breasts, hair locks damaged; cracks and damage along veins in marble especially on sides.

Findspot Description:   Found at east entrance to Peirene Fountain with S-55 (draped female) on May 26, 1898.
