Description: | Frontally-posed, standing draped male; left legbearing weight; right leg slightly bent at knee;wears toga and tunic; fingers of right hand peekfrom pallium which encloses right arm held closeto breast; S-curve of body accentuated by steepdiagonal folds running from right knee to left hipthrust outward; tubular drapery folds betweenbroad planes of fabric reveal contours of body.Traces of point and punch in very deep neck cavityshow surface prepared for inserted head; draperyfolds carved with flat chisel with some use ofrunning drill; traces of rasping over all surface. | |
