Description:   Draped standing male, weight on r. leg, l. leg slightly relaxed to side, wearing knee-length sleeved tunic, belted at waist (belt visible at r. side), over which is a heavy mantle clasped with pin at r. shoulder and open at r. side, mantle reaches to feet; r. arm bent at elbow and drawn across chest, holding orb; l. arm at side, underneath mantle; drapery rendered with broad flat folds, separated by broad flat valleys; over lt. forearm, shallowly incised catenaries; from knees down mantle folds broken into thinner folds, as if from a chiton, over rt. leg and center; over lt. lower leg continue as broad folds; wearing ankle-ht. shoes with indentation between first 2 toes, lt. shoe thick-soled, rt. not. Back not modelled; flat chisel work, with 2 horizontal "folds" at shoulder ht., below which band W0.10 of raised point work. Smooth surface, some rasp visible.Some drill work in folds over lower legs. Rectangular plinth; dowel hole in center front 0.345 from rt. edge 00.035 x 00.025 x 00.033; flat chisel work; patch 0.08 m. wide of coarse point to proper rt. of rt. foot where something trimmed away. Statue recut from earlier statue ?
Material:   Fine-crystalled white marble with micaceous veins (?)
Condition:   Missing parts. Two joining frgts., figure from shoulders to feet, plinth. Lacks head, fragments from l. side at knee, front of l. foot. Plinth: full depth preserved, missing lt. edge, front and back rt. corners.
