Description:   A woman is shown in profile, facing lt. with pronounced bust, lt. arm at side, presumably seated, given flare in wall beneath arm. Wears a mantle that completely covers figure, with deep catenaries descending from lt. shoulder and arm down below breast; catenaries stop along outside of arm, not continuing in back. The figure breaks evenly in a vertical line behind the breast; a faint lip here suggests that another surface continued to lt. at right angles to figure; in back, drapery continues smoothly, where figure meets a flat surface which extends at least 00.027 m. to right. On interior at right break, a vertical line incised into clay, perhaps denoting juxtaposition to another surface. Figure hollow; interior of torso smooth, with wads visible on interior of arm; remaining interior surface rougher. Metope or relief ?
