Description:   From proper rt. side of head, bit of head below stephane, stephane staight with scalloped edge (T00.009-00.015), interior face sloping thickening toward base and crown of head. Largely worked in coarse clay, fine slip T00.002-00.005.
Decoration:   Head: dilute brown paint, reserved band. Stephane: lotus-palmette chain on reserved ground. 11-petal palmette with slender drooping petals over simple spiral. Heart red, rest black. Lotus black with red bud. Red (between 10R-2.5YR 4/6) on upper edge, traces on inner face of stephane. Surface matt.
Material:   Core: dense amount coarse (2-3 mm) black inclusions, fine surface layer, fired buff throughout with slight pink tinge.
Munsell Color:   Ca. 10YR 7.5/3
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving top edge.
