Decoration: | Painted in dull black glaze and purple paint: foot reserved, stripe at base of body; band of tongues, tips up, H00.015; stripe at top; broad band with faint purple traces, narrow black, broad purple, narrow black bands; purple stripe at edge of shoulder. On shoulder tongues, with stems continuing onto base of neck. Neck, underside of rim reserved. 3 concentric black rings on rim; vertical stripe along either edge of handle with horizontal strokes down back. | |
