Description:   Flat-bottom aryballos with tiny ring foot, flat resting surface, flat undersurface. Attenuated globular body, articulated low shoulder, narrow cylindrical neck H00.012, broad horizontal rim. Vertical strap handle from shoulder to rim.
Decoration:   Painted in brown-black glaze, no purple preserved. Foot striped, resting surface reserved, stripe on interior of foot, dotted circle on undersurface. Band of tongues H00.009, stripe above. Broad glazed band on upper half body H00.014, with incised scales, directed downward, each with double incised outline; stripe at top; tongues on shoulder; neck, underside of rim reserved. 4 pairs of dots on edge of rim, single dot to lt. of handle. 2 concentric rings on top of rim between which ring of dots. Stripe down either edge of handle, wavy line down back.
Material:   Fine buff clay.
