Description:   Globular aryballos with flattened bottom, globular body, narrow cylindrical neck, broad horizontal outturned rim, thickened at outer edge, top surface flat. Vertical strap handle attached to top of shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Bottom: plain except for small incised ring; body: quatrefoil with added purple filling petals; widely spaced tongues on shoulder with purple tips; reserved rosette on brown-black ground on top of rim, row of dots on outer edge; 5 horizontal stripes on handle back, stripe down each side.
Material:   Fine pale yellow clay without visible inclusions.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact; glaze partly worn away.
