Description:   Pyxis with flat bottom, concave body with max. diam. at lip only slightly greater than bottom, tapered lip. Two horizontal handles consisting of strips of clay attached to lip and pinched in center. Nearly flat lid withslight flange set well in from edge; knob biconical with inverted tone, top of which hollowed slightly around central point.
Decoration:   Body: at rim, Z-pattern below, purple and black bands, double dotted band between purple lines at middle, more bands, and thick vertical lines at base; handles purple. Inside glazed except for two reserved bands. Lid: similar dotted band between black and purple lines; wide black and purple lines on knob.
Material:   Greenish-buff Corinthian clay.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact.
