Description:   Krater with wide flaring base and ribbed stem (8 ribs). Ovoid body, vertical rim very slightly flared. Mouth somewhat oval. Horizontal rolled handles tilted upward and joined at tops by flat vertical bands to the rim.
Decoration:   Base glazed except for 2 reserved lines near outer edge, 3 near inner. Stem and body glazed to handle zone. In handle zone 2 sets of triple reserved lines dividing it into ca. equal zones; similar reserved lines below handle zone. Reserved panels occupy the center of the handle zone front and back. There bordered at bottom to their full width by triple zigzags below triple bands. Above these the ends of panels stopped by columns of zigzags between triple (outer) and double (inner) vertical lines. Central parts of panels bordered below by single steep zigzags and double horizontal lines, above by triple parallel zigzags, shallower, and triple horizontal lines. Center on one side filled by 3 sections of hatched maeander to lt., on other by 2 more maeanders, one simple key pattern. Maeander panels stopped by single vertical lines. All space between ends of panels and handles glazed, save for reserved areas beside ends of handles, decorated with double lines curved to outline the attachments themselves. Horizontal handles decorated on their outer faces with double bands above single below, the space between filled with diagonals slanting toward lt. at one side, rt. at other, leaving a triangle filled with diagonals slanting to rt. Ladder pattern on vertical straps. 3 bands on outer face of rim; upper face reserved, decorated by 14 sets of twelve short parallel dashes. Inside glazed.
Material:   Fine buff Corinthian clay with slightly greenish tinge. Black glaze, brownish where thin and very badly peeled.
Condition:   Complete or intact. Nemerous joining frgts., complete except for small fragments and chips.
