Description:   Globular aryballos with round bottom, globular body, narrow cylindrical neck, broad horizontal outturned rim, thickened at outer edge, top surface sloping down to large opening. Vertical strap handle attached to top of shoulder and rim.
Decoration:   Decoration in dull brown-black glaze and red-brown. Bottom: ring of painted tongues with central dot (?) all in black; body: 6 concentric rings alternating red-brown and black from bottom to top; shoulder: painted black tongues; black stripe on exterior of rim; 2 black rings on top of rim, band on interior of neck; black band on handle back, 2nd at handle bottom.
Material:   Fine buff to pinkish buff clay with rare voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly grayer than 10YR 8/2 to pinker than 10YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete or intact. Intact. Chip in body; bottom worn; glaze relatively well preserved.
