Description:   Skyphos with flaring ring foot, rounded resting surface, slightly nippled undersurface. Deep body with flaring convex profile, slightly articulated vertical rim, round lip. Two canted horizontal lop handles attached to upper body.
Decoration:   Black glazed over all except: undersurface where have small dotted circle in center; reserved band below handles; reserved handle zone with black-figure scene, thin stripe on lip, insides of handles. Scene: at lt. Herakles striding rt. with rt. arm raised, club overhead, lt. arm extended; at rt. warrior, helmeted and holding shield over lt. arm, rt. raised, kneeling on ground; no interior details; framed by 7 petal palmettes with tendril curling up toward handle. On opposite side bearded (?) warrior striding rt., round object in rt. hand (?), to rt. a crouching helmeted warrior, head turned back, shield on lt. arm, possible spear in raised rt., similar framing palmettes.
