Description: | Small cup (Class II-Matt-painted ware) similar to Z94 in shape but of much finer fabric. Thin walls. The loop handle rising from the rim on one side is deeply grooved. | |
Decoration: | Matt-painted. The decoration in dull black paint includes a single band along the rim, a line on the top and on each side of the handle, and the usual zone around the upper half of th ebody. The zone is bordered by three narrow ribbon lines below and a single broad band at the base of the neck. Around the upper part of the zone, or perhaps rather forming part of the upper border, runs a single narrow band, from which are suspended nine double festoons almost regular in size. | |
