Title:   EARLY GEOMETRIC KRATER

Description:   Krater with slightly flaring ring foot, broad resting surface, convex undersurface. Ovoid body with maximum diameter at 0.115-0.120, low vertical rim with outward thickened triangular lip, flat on top. Small vertical strap handle from maximum diameter to rim.
Decoration:   Dull brown-black glaze. Resting and undersurfaces reserved, exterior black-glazed, with reserved panel in center of either side just below rim, in handle zone: triple vertical zigzags with two reserved lines above and below, one at the ends. Interior thinly glazed. Horizontal stripes on back of handle, stripe along left edge.
Material:   Fine clay fired brown at core, tan at surface. A few fine voids.
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining fragments, complete profile, complete except for one-third body and rim, one handle. Glaze worn.
