Description:   Coarse ware (class D) according to Blegen (Zygouries). Large example of deep jar which stands on a comparatively small raised base and has curving sides which rise to a broad mouth with a slightly flattened rim. Elliptical mouth. Altogether probably too large to be used for cooking and was probably a storage vessel.

Condition:   Complete or intact. Some bits of body missing, RIP
Dimensions Actual:   H: 0.43; Rim D (elliptical): 0.50 to 0.44.
