Description:   The rim of a large open vessel, most likely a Krater.
Decoration:   Predominantly undecorated with evidence of bars in brown vertical bars on rim. Pale Buff slip.
Material:   Coarse Pink buff clay, frequentangularredto black inclusions small to medium with frequent small to medium voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 8/4 pink/Very Pale Brown
Condition:   Fragment. 1 Large Rim Sherd with part of neck preserved below.
Manufacture:   Wheelmade
Period:   Late Helladic I (1650-1500 BC)
Chronology:   Based on a parallel from Eutresis and its 'hawksbill'overhang (Goldman) this sherd is possibly LH I. More generally it should be dated MH LH I. Cf. Davis 1979 fig 5.5.
