"Plaster architectural moulding with following elements in profile: vertical surface at bottom, low fascia H. 0.002, projection 0.035 m., finished on either end for complete W. 0.147; row of dentils H. 0.007, finished on either end; flat face H. 0.02, projection 0.002 from dentils, on either end finished surface that breaks along a diagonal line; fascia H. 0.006, projection 00.002, band H. 0.017 with double concentric seni-circles divided by dart; fascia H. 0.003, projection 00.006, above which a vertical face at least H. 0.044, projection 0.01 m. Plaster in back at present has a strong diagonal profile, tapering from T. 0.07 to 00.009 m. at top; unclear whether this reflects underlying surface to which attached. "Plaster decoration, flat and smooth in back,top surface flattened but with raised striations along front, back edges. In front is the tip of a palmette in low relief, impressed 00.011-00.016 m. below surface; preserved is the central pointed and angular petal, with parts of 2 to rt., 1 to lt. To rt. of palmette are 3 curving ridges of graduated lengths and extending horizontally. Above this surface smooth and flat to top of slab, with a few drips of plaster adhering to it. Possibly made in 2 layers, in back at rt. end part of surface broken away to reveal a rougher underlying surface T 0.01. "Plaster decoration consisting of a rectangular element with smooth face, top and back more irregularly finished with streaks of raised plaster and a few impressions. Impressed into front face is a motif not largely missing, set in 0.044 from one side 0.040 from other; impression preserves parts of two adjoining sides, one straight other bowed, with unintelligible shallow relief on floor. "Thick plaster block with smooth and flat back surface, one edge that looks as if pressed against a form, second flat over which uneven layer of plaster. Front face smooth, preserving part of decorative element in low relief but sunk deeply into surface; set 0.074 m. below one edge; preserved is low relief of S-shaped motif, like the tail of a fish. Along one broken edge is part of a graffito. In break can see that made in two layers 0.024 and 0.019 m. thick.
