Early excavators sunk dozens of strip trenches around Ancient Corinth in the first years of the excavation in an attempt to understand the topography of the ancient city.
Lamp with disk foot with concave undersurface, globular body, very broad groove at edge of narrow horizontal rim, small fill hole. Thick floor, humped. Long nozzle, flat on top. No handle.
