Description:   Storage amphora with spherical (or ovoid) body, cylindrical narrow neck, outward thickened vertical rim, inturned squared lip. Two broad vertical strap handles attached to shoulder and mid-neck, a third small handle attached to shoulder and body. Similar to C-1938-191 and C-1994-90.
Decoration:   Wheel ridges on shoulder and body. Matt-painted decoration: diagonal brown to black stripes on handles, one spiral(?) on the large one; stripe on rim(?); spirals inside circles on shoulder and body; smudgy drips on neck and lower part of body. Similar to C-1994-90.
Material:   Coarse pale yellow clay with large to V. large common spherical rounded black and gray inclusions, and common platy rounded voids.
Munsell Color:   5Y 8/2 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Numerous frgts., preserving 3/4 body, all neck and rim, two handles and start third. Painting partially preserved. Accretions and root action on surface.
