Description:   Stamnos with false ring foot with slightly concave undersurface to globular body tapering to broad outturned horizontal rim with squared edge. One round horizontal strap handle attached on shoulder. Generally similar to Early Roman burial stamnos C-1962-8 (Edwards 1975, Corinth 7.3, p. 105, note 4).
Decoration:   Bands of orange wash at max. diameter, across top of handle, and on top of rim.
Material:   Fine very pale brown clay with rare small to medium subrounded tabular white and gray inclusions, rare small angular tabular white and reddish brown inclusions, and rare small voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/2 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., preserving small part of foot, body, rim, and one handle. Small lump of corroded metal and cooking fabric sherd adhering to interior of lower body.
