Description:   Large closed vase. From vase with high concae neck set off sharply from shoulder.
Decoration:   Horizontally burnished at rim in and out, at base of neck, and on preserved portion of shoulder; vertically burnished on most of exterior neck profile; interior of neck simply smoothed.
Material:   relatively fine micaceous clay with one or two large grits
Munsell Color:   Fracture and interior surface: 2.5 YR 5/6 (red); exterior surface: mottled- 2.5 YR 5/6 (red) to 7.5 YR 4.5/2 (dark brown/brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Large neck and shoulder fragment mended from two sherds; neither rim nor any trace of handle preserved.
