Description:   Broneer type XXI moldmade lamp with raised ring foot, rounded resting surface, flat undersurface, hemispherical body, plain, narrow rim, plain disk with raised ring border, small wick hole, spool-shaped projections on the sides, grooved on top, single nozzle with double volute on neck, vertical strap handle. Similar to L 176 (Corinth IV.2, p. 167, no. 383, pl. 8).
Decoration:   Black, metallic glaze overall exterior.
Material:   Fine light gray clay, with few medium silver mica, rare medium white, red and black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5Y 7/1 (light gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Complete discus, shoulder, and base, missing end of spout and handle. Major crack running along shoulder and across bottom though still intact. Surface somewhat pitted and worn.
