Description:   Firedog stand with knob, square or dokos type (Pullen 2011, NVAP 1, cat. 354-363, pp. 233-240, fig. 4.47, EH II Initial), with cylindrical stem and knob with concave surface. As C-1968-298.
Material:   Coarse red clay with reddish gray to pink core. Frequent medium to v. large mudstone, grog, white and gray angular and sub-rounded tabular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 5/6 (red), core, outer: 2.5YR 5/1 (reddish gray), core, inner: 5YR 7/3 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving part of knob. Granular break across stem and across one side of knob.
