Description:   Tripod cooking pot with three triangular in section legs equidistant on flat bottom, hemispherical body, incurved at the top with rounded lip.
Decoration:   A small strip of plastic taenia (approx. 0.04m long) attached just below the lip.
Material:   Coarse reddish brown clay fired gray at core with frequent medium to large white (lime) and gray angular spherical inclusions. A few tiny vacuoles.
Munsell Color:   External surface: 5YR 5/4 (reddish brown), Internal surface: 5YR 5/8 (yellowish red), Core: 10YR 5/2 (grayish brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Many joining frgts., all from 543 except for 1 from 540, preserving complete profile, 3/4 body, 4/5 rim, 2 legs, 3rd in plexiglass. Granular breaks across body and rim. Surface fairly worn. Blackened exterior and upper third on interior.
