Description:   Bronze finger ring with two strands wound together to form a hoop, strands flattened at ends and pressed against flat, circular disk attached to bottom of the collet. Deep collet with applied twisted band around base. Hoop similar to MF 4942 (Corinth XII, p.236 , no. 1843, pl. 103 ), collet similar to MF 6675 (Corinth XII, p. 235, no. 1830, pl. 103).
Material:   Bronze
Condition:   Missing parts. Hoop is intact. Three pieces preserve nearly complete collet. Bezel is missing.
Dimensions Actual:   Diam. of hoop 0.023, Th. of hoop 0.002, Diam. of collet 0.012
Chronology:   Based on parallels, ring may date from Late Roman (6th or 7th c.) to Byzantine (11th or 12th c. A.C.).
