Description: | Early Helladic spindle whorl of conical convex standard type (Pullen 2011, NVAP 1). Bottom flat, meeting sides at sharp angle. Coarse pink clay with few very small to small white subrounded spherical, few very small to medium gray subrounded spherical, rare very small to large peach subrounded spherical; rare small dark red rounded spherical, and rare (1) large red rounded platy inclusions. Frequent spherical and rare (1) platy voids. Similar to MF-1968-288. | |
