Description:   Pale-colored stained (or luster-painted) glass vessel. Pigment absorbed beneath surface through chemical reaction and permanently stained, becoming part of atomic structure. Decoration:   Monochrome reddish brown silver-based or copper-based paint under surface, possibly floral or vine motif: short wide arrow(?) ending in circle on other end; short thin U-shaped semicircular(?) line to left and right of arrow.
Material:   Clear brownish yellow glass with few small rounded spherical and small rounded platy bubbles.
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving small triangular part of body with sharp edges; surfaces smooth.
Period:   Early Byzantine (610-802 AD)
